Aarambh FAQ's
Q1. What is Aarambh and who is it for?
Aarambh is a strength training app built for women. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone
who’s been working out for a while but wants more structure — Aarambh is for you. If you’re ready to feel
stronger, move better, and actually understand what you’re doing in the gym (or at home), you’re in the
right place.
Q2. Do I need to go to a gym to use Aarambh?
Not at all. Aarambh has both gym-based and home-based programs. Gym Foundation is for gym-goers,
while Home Foundation is equipment-free, a pair of dumbbells and a resistance band will do! You can
start wherever you are and switch anytime.
Q3. I've never worked out before. Is Aarambh too advanced for me?
Not at all — Aarambh is designed with beginners in mind. Every program includes pre-recorded video
demos so you can watch each exercise before doing it. Programs start simple and build progressively —
you’ll never feel lost or thrown in the deep end.
Q4. What's the difference between the Basic and Pro plans?
The Basic plan gives you access to our full exercise library and the workout planner — great for exploring
movements and building a habit at your own pace. The Pro plan unlocks structured programs (Gym
Foundation, Home Foundation, Cycle Sync Week), progress tracking (log your sets, reps, and weights),
visual analytics to see your strength journey over time, and achievement badges as you hit milestones. Pro
is where the real transformation — and the real motivation — happens.
Q5. How does cycle tracking work — and why does it matter for my workouts?
Your body goes through four hormonal phases every month, and each one affects your energy, strength,
and recovery differently. Most women never learn this — so when they have a low-energy workout day,
they blame themselves. Aarambh changes that. You log your period dates, and the app tracks your cycle
to help you understand your high performance windows (when to push hard) and your low stamina days
(when to dial it back). During your period week, the Cycle Sync Week program is front and centre — gentle
movement designed to relieve symptoms and keep your momentum going. It’s not just period tracking. It’s
understanding your body at a whole new level.
Q6. Are the nutrition guides relevant to Indian women?
Absolutely. Our 50+ recipes are built around everyday Indian food and more. Our nutrition guidance
supports hormonal health, energy levels, and your fitness goals using ingredients already in your kitchen.
Remember Food is Fuel! Not your enemy.
Q7. What if I have PCOS?
Aarambh was founded by someone who navigated PCOS firsthand, so this is close to our heart. The
training approach and nutrition guidance in Aarambh are designed to be PCOS-aware — supporting
hormonal balance, reducing inflammation, and building sustainable habits. Strength training is one of the
most research-backed tools for managing PCOS, and we’re here to support you do it safely and
consistently.
